Fête Grays Yard is home to one of Chelmsford’s most beautiful multi-use events spaces. Holding up to 80 guests, our upstairs has its own dedicated bar, dance floor space and cosy lounge areas. We’ve hosted big birthday parties, family get-togethers, engagement do’s, craft workshops, networking, brand relaunches & more. Whatever event you’re planning we have your city centre location sorted.

Our upstairs space can comfortably hold up to 85 standing guests. A minimum of 40 guests required to hire the upstairs space privately.

Yes – you’re more than welcome to decorate with balloons/banners/signs. All decorations must be removed and taken with you at the end of the event.

No – we charge an hourly hire fee and no minimum bar spend to keep it simple. Email us to find out more.

We have a list of recommended DJs who can be hired to soundtrack your event. Please drop us an email for more details. NB we only permit our listed DJs to play upstairs.

Our upstairs bar is open until 12am. We ask that all guests leave by 12.30am.
